Georgina worked at the major awarding organisation Oxford and Cambridge and RSA (OCR) in 2004, initially as assistant director, and then as head of assessor management. In addition to her primary responsibilities, managing several large teams which monitored and managed the 13,000 strong external examiner community, Georgina led on a number of major internal change management and development projects, including internal mergers, the development of OCR corporate strategy, and OCR’s on-screen marking solution. Towards the end of her time at OCR Georgina undertook her MBA at Warwick University which confirmed her ongoing interest in change management, and developed her interest in strategy development.
She is delighted to have recently been appointed to the voluntary position as Chair of the East Midlands Regional Board of the Chartered Management Institute, and is in this capacity, looking forward to helping raise the quality and quantity of well qualified, effective and inspirational managers in the UK.
