Patent Assistant - Yorkshire
An excellent opportunity to join a leading IP firm in a friendly and close-knit team. The firm are seeking an individual with some previous experience working with patents and/or trade marks to provide administrative and secretarial assistance to specific designated fee earners including a partner.
Duties will include: maintaining paper files, processing examination reports and ensuring that deadlines are recorded and adhered to correctly. The ideal candidate will be bright and self-reliant in order to pick up new procedures and programmes quickly and efficiently.
This role also entails paralegal and accounts assistance; overseeing new applications and preparing portfolio reports; processing payments and invoices.
A knowledge of such aspects will be beneficial to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
