Constitutional

• Developing, making or changing the Charters, By-laws and Rules having regard to relevant legislation, in particular the Legal Services Act 2007.
• Interpreting and preparing guidance on and advising Council on, as appropriate and subject to relevant legislation, Charters, By-laws and Rules and reviewing, as necessary, individual membership applications.
• Advising on the observance of Rules of Conduct.
• Advising Council on legislation and other legal matters relevant to the constitution of the Institute, in particular the Legal Services Act 2007.
