The aim of this seminar is to improve members’ understanding of the procedures followed by technical Boards of Appeal at the EPO and of the requirements of evidence and advocacy for attorneys representing clients in such proceedings. The technical subject-matter for the Moot should be capable of being understood by any attorney, being based on a past year’s EQE question.

A set of documents comprising an outline of the case, a Communication from the Board, the parties’ written replies to the communication and an outline of the afternoon’s proceedings will be made available to delegates before the seminar.
