Papers and Articles:
Sue was involved in the editing of the first version of the Patents Training Manual. She has also written articles for Business Magazines on IP managment and has given a presentation to CIPA on "Invention Promoters".
 
Services to the Institute: Has been a tutor for various tutorials for student members of the Institute. Also has represented CIPA in "What is the Key Campaign" to promote IP issues to the Business Community. For the past two years, Sue has been a member of the Press & PR Committee of CIPA that aims to promote awareness of the profession.
 
Services to the profession outside the Institute:   EPI Tutor and has also been involved in the on-line tutorial system run by the EPI for candidates from all over Europe for the EQE Exams, in particular the opposition paper. Also has given talks to Business Links and Companies on a number of IP Issues.
 
Other relevant Information: Sue has a particular interest in promoting science to children and is a Patron of the Cheltenham Science Festival. She is also a Trustee of  a Law Centre in Gloucester, which provides specialist legal advice to members of the local community that otherwise could not be legally represented mainly because of costs.
