We are looking for a fully qualified or part-qualified patent attorney with a strong academic background in chemistry.

Our attorneys take an intelligent, efficient and thorough approach to their work and pay excellent attention to detail. They aim to always provide clients with commercially meaningful, pragmatic advice, in understandable language, founded on an excellent command of written English and strong analytical and organisational skills. They balance these skills with being personable and commercially astute.

The ideal candidate will share the same focus on quality, effectiveness and commercial awareness.

Our preferred location is Liverpool, though we shall also consider candidates wishing to be based in Edinburgh and possibly other, remote, locations.

We are very well set up for remote and flexible working, which we had embraced even before the current pandemic.

Whilst we have a specific vacancy for a chemist at present, we are always interested in hearing from high-calibre candidates in all technical areas as the firm continues to grow.
