We are seeking a talented and motivated Electronics Patent Attorney with a European qualification or dual qualification to join our clients leading Hi-Tech team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with some of the most prominent household name companies across various industries, with a particular focus on AI and Software-related innovations. This is a unique chance to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Intellectual Property in the European market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, prosecute, and manage patent applications in the field of Electronics, with a particular emphasis on AI and Software inventions
  • Provide strategic IP advice to clients, including freedom-to-operate, due diligence, and patentability assessments
  • Conduct patent searches and analysis to assess the novelty and inventiveness of inventions
  • Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and technology leaders to understand and protect their innovations
  • Represent clients before the European Patent Office (EPO) and other relevant patent offices

Qualifications:

  • European Patent Attorney qualification or dual qualification (EPA/UK Chartered Patent Attorney)
  • A strong academic background in Electronics, AI, or Software-related fields
  • A deep understanding of patent law and a strong track record in Electronics patent prosecution
  • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
