Patent Attorney, Sydney or Melbourne – Full Relocation Allowance!

Job Description

Feeling a bit of winter melancholy? Well, why not go somewhere where it’s literally summer right now? Or possibly autumn depending on when you’re reading this but Australian autumn is very different to British autumn… Yes, once again we’re recruiting in the Southern Hemisphere. It’s becoming a bit of a habit.

What are we looking for this time you ask? Well, you’re a qualified Patent Attorney with a background in organic chemistry and likely at Associate or Senior Associate level.  You are looking for a longer-term move overseas and are interested in cross-qualifying whilst maintaining your current career status.

The firm you would be working for is pretty wonderful, commercially minded, global network and employee-focused.

Here’s a list of bullet points about the role because it looks neat:

  • Wide variety of client sectors
  • Multi reporting structure, so you will work with a variety of Partners across a broad range of work
  • Beyond drafting and prosecution, you will also be involved in contentious work such as oppositions and patent litigation
  • You will offer strategic IP advice to clients
  • Be involved in client development, attending events, writing articles and giving presentations
  • Being supportive of staff development

If that move overseas is something you have been toying with, let’s chat! We can run through what to expect, how it works, what remuneration might look like and how the visa process works.

Get in touch with us at [email protected] or telephone +44 20 7903 5019.
