Results of the 2025 examinations for UK patent attorneys, published this week by the Patent Examination Board, have shown an increase in pass rates across most papers.
CIPA President Simon Wright and Vice-President Vicki Salmon congratulated successful candidates. They praised the hard work of both students and everyone who has supported them through to successful qualification.
In a joint statement, they said: “We would like to congratulate all the candidates who have passed their PEB exams, and especially those who will now be able to come onto the Register and become Fellows of CIPA.
“We have noted that most of the pass rates have increased this year. This is a testament to the hard work of all the candidates and those who support them, whether in business or at home.”
