  • Virtual Seminars

    Non refundable but delegates can transfer to a colleague up to 24 hours before the virtual seminar.

  • Seminars

    Refunds are available if notification at [email protected] is received up to until 14 working days before the event; thereafter no refunds payable but delegate substitution can take place.

  • Webinars

    Non refundable but delegates can transfer to a colleague up to 24 hours before the webinar.

  • Virtual Conferences

    Non refundable but delegates can transfer to a colleague up to 24 hours before the webinar.

  • Virtual Social Events for CIPA Members

    Non refundable. Delegates can transfer their place to another member up to 7 days before the event. It is strictly a maximum of 7 days due to having to ensure that the items needed to participate in the event will arrive on time.

  • IPEC Course

    Non refundable.

  • EPO Proceedings Course
    Full pre-payment is required before we issue part 1 course materials. This event is non refundable however in exceptional circumstances and with sufficient notice you can transfer your booking to a colleague within your organisation.
  • Membership Fees

    Members will have until 31 March to inform CIPA is that the membership fee you have paid for is no longer valid – at [email protected] otherwise it is non refundable.

  • IP Ball

    Non refundable but delegates can transfer to a colleague up to 5 working days before the event.

  • Publications

    Once the book has been received the order cannot be cancelled or returned. In the unlikely event your order is damaged, we will issue you a replacement copy if we are notified within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us at [email protected].

  • Introductory Patent Paralegal Course (IPPC)

    If a candidate withdraws from the course, the fee paid is neither refundable nor transferable after registration onto the course has been confirmed by CIPA.

  • Regional Meetings

    Regional meetings are non-refundable for delegates however transferable to a colleague up to 48 hours in advance of the event.

  • Conferences (in-person)

    Refunds are available if notification at [email protected] is received up to until 7 working days before the event; thereafter no refunds payable but delegate substitution can take place.

  • Conference Dinners 2023

    Non refundable but can change to a colleague 5 days before.

  • Life Science Conference 2023

    Tickets are non-refundable if notification at [email protected] is received less than 4 weeks prior to the event. After this point, delegates can transfer their ticket to a colleague up to 3 days before the event.

    Refunds may be offered on a discretionary basis, if CIPA is able to find a replacement within a reasonable timeframe.
