Key 2026 examination documentation has been updated

It has come to our attention that despite being eligible to skip the pre-exam this year due to having been in the profession for two years by the time of the exam, the EQE registration process has caused candidates to register too late to be eligible for the EQE in this cycle. As a result, many candidates who were expecting exemption from FD2 and FD3 have only registered for the FD1 and FD4 examinations.
The registration period for the Qualifying Examination ended on 25 July 2025 to give time for the PEB to put processes in place to be able to deliver the 2025 examinations.
In the interest of candidates, the PEB has decided to give a window of opportunity to allow candidates to register for the FD2 and FD3 examinations.
The PEB will not be re-opening 2025 Qualifying Examinations registration link. However, we will be registering candidates manually until 5pm on Monday 11 August 2025 after which we will not be accepting any more requests.
If you would like to register for these examinations, please carefully follow the instructions below:
1. Email [email protected] with your name, examination number, the venue you would be sitting the exam/s and the exam/s you are registering for.
2. Please indicate whether you would require reasonable adjustments for your examination and provide evidence for it where possible.
3. Please make the payment of the fee/s as soon as you receive the invoice to confirm your registration.
4. If we do not receive the payment of your examination fee confirming your registration by 5pm on 15 August 2025 the PEB will withdraw you from the examination/s.
