Membership Operations Officer
Fran is the Membership Officer and joined The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys in June 2008.
Fran’s responsibilities include managing the annual renewals process, handling all membership enquiries including grade transitions and membership paths, working to improve member services and organising regular induction days to welcome new student members to the profession. Fran is also the Producer and Editor of CIPA’s podcast Two IPs in a Pod, a member of the Diversity & Inclusion group and is a trained Mental Health First Aider.
Fran first joined CIPA as an Admin Assistant and Receptionist. Since then Fran has been CIPA’s Finance Assistant, Membership Finance Officer and is now the Membership Officer.
Prior to working at CIPA, Fran received a BA degree in Classical Civilisations.
