Gazelle’s floating platform uses a lightweight, modular steel hull with built-in buoyancy and a unique counterweight-based mooring system that provides passive stability. Its push-connect assembly and quick cable systems mean it can be installed or serviced faster than conventional alternatives, minimising time spent in ports and reducing downtime.

The solution has undergone detailed computer modelling and scale testing to ensure its stability and performance in varied marine environments. Its design also reduces disruption to the seabed and marine ecosystems compared to traditional installations.

Gazelle’s technology provides a way to build offshore wind capacity quickly, efficiently, and in more locations around the world—including those with deeper waters and harsher seabed conditions. By making offshore wind more scalable and cost-effective, Gazelle is helping to make renewable energy more accessible globally.
