This webinar will provide an introduction to the concept of divisional applications at both the UKIPO and the EPO. There will be a discussion on the rules around their filing and things to look out for when filing a divisional application which may make a filing more or less complicated.

Terence is a Senior Patent Attorney at Murgitroyd in their Cardiff Office and leads their Artificial Intelligence team. Terence came into the profession in 2009 and is experienced in patent drafting and prosecution, especially in the software space, but also takes a keen interest in the nuances around procedure at both the UKIPO and the EPO and has often provided training to junior fee earners and support staff on patent formalities.
