Ben advises clients in wide range of industry sectors on data protection compliance, including major global data protection and GDPR compliance projects and assessments as well as specific data protection challenges such as international transfers and data security breaches. Ben also regularly advises on direct marketing and cookies compliance.

In 2016, Ben was seconded to the data privacy team within the global legal function of an international bank, where Ben was involved in advising on data protection issues in connection with big data, international data transfers, sharing of personal data with external third parties and contractual provisions, and assisted with drafting internal policies and procedures in relation to data protection compliance.
