Paul Roscoe, Appleyard Lees IP LLP

Paul is a senior associate at Appleyard Lees IP LLP. He has drafted dozens of patent applications for a variety of subject-matter over his career, including mechanical inventions through to computer-implemented inventions, which is where most of his practice is now focused. Before entering the patent profession, he worked as an engineer at Airbus after being awarded a first class MEng in aerospace engineering from the University of Liverpool. Paul qualified as a patent attorney with all first time passes. Now, he is a PEB examiner for the FD4 exam, and plays a critical role in setting the FD2 exam through testing the paper. He has also tutored on the JDD course for FD2.
