In this one-hour Webinar the PEB FD3 Principal, Christopher Gibbs, and PEB Examiner, Tom Turner, explain what the exam is about, what the examiners are looking for, and share practical tips to help you get to a pass mark.

Christopher Gibbs has been an examiner for FD3 for many years, and Principal Examiner for the last half-dozen or so. His career has been in private practice before both the UKIPO and the EPO, now acting as a consultant.

Tom Turner, Abel & Imray LLP

Tom is a Partner at Abel & Imray LLP, and has been an FD3 examiner since 2015. Tom’s patent work is mainly in the chemical field with a special focus on polymers, reactor technology, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis, and petrochemical processing, with a little mechanical engineering work thrown in from time to time. Tom joined Abel & Imray LLP after completing a PhD in organometallic chemistry at the University of Bristol, and now splits his time between the firm’s Cardiff and Delft offices.
