You are invited to learn about the duty of disclosure at the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). This duty requires all patent applicants and inventors to disclose to the USPTO all information known to them that may be material to the patentability of their invention for which they seek protection in the U.S. Join us as we take a deep dive into Information Disclosure Statements (IDSes) which are the primary tool used to satisfy the duty of disclosure at the USPTO. This webinar will cover the duty of disclosure in detail and provide various examples and scenarios concerning the expectations and requirements for this duty. Those attending this webinar will walk away with a fuller understanding of the duty of the disclosure in the U.S. along with guidance concerning what to do – and what not to do – with regard to addressing and satisfying the duty.
