In this new webinar, Gregory Bacon (Bristows, the UK), Kai Rüting (Vossius and Partner, Germany), Jean-Hyacinthe de Mitry (Gide Loyrette Nouel, France), Daniela Ampollini (Trevisan & Cuonzo, Italy) and Daan de Lange (Brinkhof, the Netherlands) will discuss and compare legal frameworks from their respective jurisdictions, so as to bring out similarities and differences across five different European jurisdictions. A webinar not to be missed, with many references to case law and practical examples to navigate the audience across perhaps one of the least harmonized areas of IP law in the Old Continent. The panel will be moderated by Marco Morbidini, of Kilburn & Strode LLP.

Notably, he has a wide experience in national and multijurisdictional patent disputes
With more than 20 years of experience in IP, partner Daniela has advised and assisted both Italian and international clients in the exploitation and protection of innovation using all tools contemplated by IP law. Her experience covers both contentious work (including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional litigation), and non-contentious work, including clearance analysis and the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements concerning the exploitation of industrial and intellectual property rights, also in the context of complex commercial agreements.
Daan was admitted to the Bar in 2003 and specialises in international patent litigation with a focus on pharmaceuticals and biotech. Daan is a true litigator and at his best in technically complex proceedings. He was involved in some of the most important Supreme Court patent cases in the last few years.
