Kathryn Eldridge is a Partner in the Life Sciences & Chemistry group at Kilburn & Strode, and is highly experienced in multi-party opposition and appeal proceedings. Kathryn is extremely commercially focussed and, in addition to protecting her clients’ products, Kathryn routinely provides her clients with patent landscape reviews, freedom to operate opinions and due diligence opinions.
Chloe’s technical background is in materials science and her daily practice covers a broad range of consumer chemistry, mechanical engineering and biomedical devices.She advises clients how to obtain robust protection for their inventions and provides a coordinated and strategic approach to filing and management of global patent portfolios.She handles all stages of prosecution and contentious work including defending and attacking patents in EPO opposition and appeal proceedings (in person and by VICO), advising on freedom-to-operate issues and participating in UK litigation proceedings.
Laura is a European patent attorney recognised in the Legal 500 by her clients as being both innovative and practical in her approach. She regularly represents her clients in EPO opposition and appeal proceedings. Laura is experienced in using oppositions as a tactical tool during disputes and licence negotiations between parties. She is a “Recommended Individual” for the UK in the latest JUVE rankings.
Laura handles patent work in various fields spanning physics, engineering and materials science, including medical devices, renewable energy and aerospace engineering.
