The 2025 Informals Foundation Lecture series continues with Novelty and Inventive Step on Tuesday 14 January 2025 at 05:30 pm given by Bethan Halliwell (Withers & Rogers LLP). This is an online lecture, delivered by broadcast on Zoom.
This session will cover novelty and inventive step at the UKIPO and EPO, including examples and tips for addressing objections.

Bethan Halliwell is a Partner at Withers & Rogers LLP, based in London and working in the electronics, computing and physics team. Bethan has over 12 years of experience acting before the UKIPO and EPO on a range of technologies, with particular expertise in software and medical related inventions.
