Khemi Salhan is a Principal Associate in Gowling WLG’s award winning Intellectual Property team, specialising in brands and designs disputes.
Khemi is an expert in brand enforcement; managing and co-ordinating enforcement of her clients’ rights across the globe. Khemi was seconded to the Birmingham Commonwealth Games as Brand Protection Manager. In her role as Brand Protection Manager she was responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive brand registration, protection, exploitation and enforcement programme ahead of delivery of the Games in the summer of 2022.
In addition to global portfolio management and enforcement, Khemi works on a wide range of matters for brands and designs clients including project management, strategic advice and litigation.
Khemi is also an active member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
Fran is a UK and European Patent Attorney working in the Engineering and Designs group at Boult Wade Tennant LLP in Cambridge. She has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath. Fran works across a variety of technology areas including food technology, medical engineering and aerospace engineering and has particular interests in both design protection and plant variety rights.
