Charlotte Hart was appointed a district judge, assigned to serve in the bankruptcy jurisdiction of the London Insolvency District on the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Royal Courts of Justice on 5 September 2011. Judge Hart was admitted as a solicitor in 1988, and was appointed as a deputy district judge in 2001. She also sat as a district judge in the Patents County Court from its inception on 1 October 2012 and subsequently in the IPEC Small Claims track from 1 October 2013.
