Change is inevitable and systemic. Our time together will be spent understanding the different types of change, why each matters, and building strategies that will result in healthy and engaged responses to imposed change and strategies to design and lead change congruent with your organisational ambitions.

This practical in person workshop is part of the new CIPA Soft Skills Series, and delivered by experienced trainers who have worked with people in professional services for many years.

As a leader with a career spanning over 30 years, I have worked in senior operational and strategic positions and as a global consultant with expertise in culture and leadership development. The blend of experience in operational delivery with the skill and knowledge required to consult, assess, and design solutions has put me in a great position to support professionals who find themselves leading and managing others. I recognise how one can develop the technical skills required to be a great professional within delivery and how that success in that profession can mean that one finds themselves managing and leading others, which is often a new and different skill set. The learning we design and facilitate is people-centric; it is designed to equip you with the knowledge required to become an inspiring and effective manager, the tools to deploy, and the confidence to deploy those tools to greater effect. Ultimately enabling you, as a business owner or manager, to attract, motivate, retain, and develop great talent.

Throughout a wonderful and varied 17-year career, I’ve always been in the business of ‘impact’: leading teams across recruitment, marketing communications, training, employee experience, as well as coaching and facilitation. I’m most at home supporting leaders to lead authentically, giving them the tools and confidence to inspire others from a place of inner calm and self-belief. I enjoy language and using communication structures to influence and shape our engagement with others. Having been in many leadership roles over my career, I appreciate the pressures the role brings and the big ‘L’ that many people perceive ‘leadership’ to have, with the conflicts and implicit challenges this can bring. I’m an enthusiastic and passionate facilitator of growth, and my favourite days are when people leave the room feeling uplifted, hopeful, and curious about the significantly positive impact they could have on others, themselves, and their businesses. Through our training, leaders have the tools, perspective, and confidence to be the best leaders they can be—to grow and retain their talent, attract the very best people, and motivate their teams to succeed.
