The Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs – UK and EU Designations

When and where

Date and time

Start: Tuesday 8 December 2020, 12:30 PM

End: Tuesday 8 December 2020, 01:30 PM

Event Overview

Post the end of the transition period EU designs will no longer cover the UK and most of use also won’t be able to act before the EUIPO.  We are going to look at using “The Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs” as an alternative to get protection in the UK and the EU.  We will be looking at designating the UK and EU only and the possible pitfalls that you might come across for those jurisdictions, when there might be cost savings in official fees, how to fill in the forms etc.
