What is unconscious bias? Why does it happen? Where and how can it impact on our workplace decisions? And how can we reduce it?
In this webinar, presented by IP Inclusive Lead Executive Officer Andrea Brewster OBE, we will explore the basics about unconscious bias, and practical tips to stop it compromising the work we do and the relationships we build there. We will learn that biases, assumptions and stereotypes are a natural part of our brain’s way of making sense of the world, so that rather than being judgemental about them, we can concentrate on awareness and mitigation. We will also explore clever ways of turning unconscious biases to our advantage in the fight for better diversity and inclusivity.
