End: Friday 26 June 2020, 01:30 PM

Event Overview

As the EPO continues to deal with the impact of the current pandemic, videoconference Oral Proceedings (OPVC) have shifted from being the exception to the rule. There’s plenty out there about them (although the opposition pilot is going to be interesting) but the new bit for many people is the concept of attending a hearing from your living room! CIPA is teaming up with the EPO for a quick overview of the OPVC landscape, touching on the legal and procedural aspects but majoring on the practical considerations – ranging from “should I worry about IT”, to “what do I wear?”
