Neurodiversity is all of us. But the complex intersectionality between gender and neurodiversity can fail to be recognised, misunderstood, or dismissed having a significant impact on individuals and businesses alike.
As a part of our Women in IP series and open to all, we bring together a diverse and expert panel to share personal experiences in this area, deconstructing the topic to help us explore the depth of our understanding of the interplay between being a woman and a range of neurodivergent conditions.
We’ll explore how women are often late-diagnosed on the one hand, while on the other, can have inherent abilities to recognise and support the unique strengths and challenges of their women colleagues. Unquestionably, neurodiversity influences women’s careers, and in discussing this, we look to aspects of self-awareness, and how to champion ourselves and our neurodivergent colleagues in the workplace.
Resources for resilience will be a key topic, as well as how to be a more constructive ally.
