A role for a recently qualified patent attorney (likely up to 3 years’ PQE) with a background in biotechnology or possibly biochemistry and with an interest and/or experience in bioinformatics.

This is a role focused on the energy sector, particularly clean energy. It is a chance to further your expertise in this sector working closely with clients, not only filing and prosecuting patents but providing analytical and strategic support.

This firm has a strong base in bioinformatics working across AI diagnostics, 3D structure analysis, microbiome sequencing and AI based immunotherapy drug design. This is a key area identified for growth for the firm and as a consequence it’s important that they find more senior attorneys who can add their expertise and help to train the next generation of attorneys.

Ideal candidates will be part qualified patent attorneys with a technical background in physics, computer science, or electrical engineering (or a related area).
