A widely recognised practice in the IP sector is looking for a Chemistry Patent Attorney with pharmaceutical experience to support its expanding team.

Applications are welcomed from both dual-qualified UK and European Patent Attorneys and finalist-level candidates nearing qualification. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of patent matters, including drafting, filing and prosecution, EPO oppositions and appeals, and contentious advisory work. The role offers exposure to a varied client base across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, alongside the opportunity to develop specialist expertise and build strong client relationships. There is also scope to become involved in wider activities such as business development, mentoring, training, recruitment and process improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a background in Chemistry and experience supporting pharmaceutical clients, together with strong patent drafting and prosecution skills. The ability to manage matters independently, provide commercially focused advice and build strong client relationships is essential.

Applications are welcomed from qualified attorneys as well as finalists approaching qualification who are looking to continue developing their career within a collaborative professional environment.
