Dwaine is the Head of Membership and joined The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys in April 2014.
Dwaine has overall responsibility for delivering membership benefits and services including; the CPD activity of webinars, training courses, annual conferences and regional meetings. He also has overall responsibility for CIPA’s annual renewal process.
Dwaine first joined us as a Membership Adviser as part of the “new look” Membership Team. His main responsibilities were to provide support and guidance to members of the organisation with relation to the benefits of membership. He was also tasked to help with administrating the IP Clinics system ensuring that members of the public are able to contact CIPA to gain advice from a qualified attorney.
He joined CIPA with over 10 years’ worth of knowledge working at other organisations within the membership sector such as LA Fitness Health Club and The Association of Accounting Technicians. Due to this, he has a particular focus on member centricity. Since joining CIPA he has successfully completed the PRINCE2 Foundation qualification and uses these skills to manage various projects at CIPA.
