Last-minute PCT refresher for the EQEs

Zsofia Pintz, Fillun

Zsofia graduated from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2014 with Masters degree in Architectural Engineering.

She started working in the field of IP since 2013, first as an intern in Washington DC, USA, then as a patent attorney candidate in Budapest. Between 2014 and 2017 she attended various IP and law courses at the EPO and at the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, including a two-year long course ending with a dissertation and final exams. In 2018, she qualified as a Hungarian patent and trademark attorney. She is also a European Union Trademark Attorney (professional representative before the EUIPO).

During her preparations for the EQE she started her EQE blog (Fillun.com) sharing her knowledge and templates for other EQE candidates. She passed the EQE in 2021 and became a European Patent Attorney. After passing the EQE, she started tutoring candidates for the EQE and joined the team of PracticeEQE in order to keep providing support for candidates.

Zsofia is currently based in the UK working as a freelance European Patent Attorney and is also involved in the management of a European Patent Validation platform (Passport).
