This webinar is the first of two about FD1 and is aimed not just at trainees who will be sitting the examination but also at Fellows who support trainees in their preparation for this challenging examination.
This webinar will showcase the various sources of information on the PEB website and how they can be used to prepare for FD1. Practical tips and advice will be provided by an experienced examiner to help maximise marks and avoid common pitfalls.

Dr Nicole Whitcombe is the Head of Chemistry at Lawrie. Nicole has been an FD1 Examiner since 2016, and has been involved in paper setting, script marking and process review. Nicole has considerable experience in tutoring candidates for the FD1 exam. She has provided tutorials for candidates in house and in the Cambridgeshire area. Nicole has also been a mentor for candidates who have failed FD1 two or more times.
