Consultation

The institute, its Council and its committees work hard to promote the best interests of members, their clients and the general public by submitting responses to formal consultation exercises held by patent offices and other official bodies, at home and abroad.

The following responses were submitted in 2024:

• IPReg consultation on proposed changes to its compensation arrangements.

• SCI’s call for an Innovation and Science Growth Council.
• First general review of the CPTPP agreement.

• WIPO consultation on modifications of the Administrative Instructions under the PCT.
