CIPA Paralegal members were recognised as among the profession’s brightest and best at the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives’ National Paralegal Awards.
Birmingham sparkled with excitement and pride on 5 September, as professionals came together to celebrate the remarkable contributions of this year’s top paralegal talents at the National Paralegal Awards, organised by CILEX.
Congratulations to our CIPA Paralegal Committee members JoAnna Emery and Lucie Jones for obtaining recognition. They were both highly commended in the Best Intellectual Property Paralegal Award category. It did not stop there for JoAnna as she was also highly commended in the Paralegal of the Year – South and the National Paralegal of the Year categories (all specialities combined).
IP firm Mewburn Ellis emerged as a strong contender. As well as six of their talented team members being among the nine finalists for the prestigious Best Intellectual Property Paralegal Award, they were also highly commended for Best Law Firm Paralegal Development.
Congratulations to Kristobel Black of Mewburn Ellis for being awarded the Best Intellectual Property Paralegal Award for her outstanding contributions and exceptional service. We also applaud Camilla Kennedy and Helen Desmond of Mewburn Ellis, who were both highly commended alongside JoAnna Emery of atai Life Sciences and Lucie Jones of Mewburn Ellis.
And finally, well done to each of the finalists as being shortlisted is a huge achievement in itself.
