The Earthshot Prize CIPA is an Official Nominator for the annual Earthshot Prize, helping to identify and nominate solutions for the environmental challenges that the prize aims to address. The Earthshot categories are ‘Build a waste-free world’, ‘Fix our climate’, ‘Protect and restore nature’, ‘Clean our air’ and ‘Revive our oceans’. Every year from 2020 until 2030, the winners in each category receive £1million and access to a global network of professional and technical support to scale and roll out their innovations to repair the planet.

CIPA’s involvement has helped to ensure that the prize focuses on innovative solutions that have the potential to be scaled and make a real difference in the world. The Earthshot Prize team recognizes CIPA’s invaluable contribution to their mission of finding and supporting ground-breaking environmental solutions.

We are the only organisation that is both an Implementation Partner and Official Nominator, providing IP due diligence and support to finalists, ensuring that the winning innovations are protected, have no outstanding IP issues and can be scaled effectively.
