Patricia Escolar Blasco, EPO

Patricia Escolar Blasco, has been  examiner at the EPO in Munich since 1999. She works in the  Team Biopharma – medical use and belongs to the Opposition Directorate.  Passed the EQE in 2008. She worked as a technical assistant of board of appeal 3.3.04 in 2014-2015. She is also a CEIPI tutor, and cooperates frequently with the European Patent Academy doing presentations for judges, professional representatives and examiners of national patent offices.

Compliance with Article 83 EPC being a key point of discussion in medical use cases, Patricia deals with arguments related to sufficiency of disclosure in most of her examination and opposition cases.
